Short URLTweetGlide has a built-in short url system that allows you to select between several short url services, including a few of our own. In your Profile Settings you can select your default short url service. You can select a different short url service for individual tweets by selecting from the drop down list.
Short URL services also have tracking, so you know how many times your links have been clicked, as well as which tweets they were clicked from! More...Worried about your Twitter Account user name and password being compromised? No need. We use the Twitter API, so we NEVER know your password. It is never used or stored with TweetGlide, or inside the application. Twitter simply gives you a number to give the application and they simply pass your account feeds over to us! Want to use your TweetGlide on other computers? No worries - all of your TweetGlide account information and settings are stored on line so you can use TweetGlide anywhere with all of your settings! Personal TweetsEvery time you use TweetGlide to tweet, you will earn 0.2 credit. In other words, 1 full credit for every 5 tweets. How hard is it to tweet 5 times? In fact, you probably already do! You are, however, limited to earning 1 credit every 3 hours. This means that if you tweet 100 times in one hour, you will only earn one credit. Why do we do this? Simple - built-in spam protection. Imagine what would happen if every user could earn unlimited credits...it wouldn't be long before Twitter would be loaded with nonsense tweets by unscrupulous people just trying to build their credits! TweetGlide is not a spam tool for abusing Twitter. Spammers will be suspended without notice and banned for life. Their accounts will be reported to Twitter for spam. After 3 hours, you will earn your next ad credit (5 tweets x 0.2 credit) and the 3 hour cycle starts again. Downline Tweets - How does this work?Using TweetGlide, you get Ad Credits on 5 levels - yours and 4 levels below you. You can also have an unlimited number on each level! So let's look at the potential... For every 5 tweets made - either by you* or by your downline - you earn 1 credit. And 1 credit equals 1 ad impression (ad shown) in the stream of sponsored tweets shown to TweetGlide members. If you refer 5 people, then they each refer 5 (and so on), you get to 780 people in your downline, if each of these members tweeted with TweetGlide 5 times, your ad would show 780 times. This could mean MASSIVE exposure! TweetGlide also has built-in cheat detection. People using false referrals and tweets will be suspended without notice and banned for life. Their accounts will be reported to Twitter for spam. All of this is put in place to make TweetGlide a premier advertising network - not a spam tool! *All users have a "three hour cool off period". This means that no matter how often you tweet, you only get one ad credit every three hours (5 tweets). This prevents users from simply tweeting nonsense just to build credits.
